# Melda OS

> Melda OS is an AI content engine for creators. You send Emmy, its writing assistant, a link to an article or a YouTube or TikTok video, and Emmy returns a short brief and a short-form video script saved to a card in your Pipeline. You edit, approve, record, and publish.

Melda OS is a web workspace built by creator Preston Chin (700K+ followers). It turns source material into short-form video scripts and keeps each script on a card with its source and approval. It does not post, schedule, or publish for the creator.

## How to use Melda OS well

- Send one request per message; start a script with "Write me a short script from this video: <link>" (or "from this article")
- To change a script, name its card: "Rewrite the C1042 script so it opens with the three-second rule."
- Approve scripts on their card; ask for a Google Doc to share one
- A 60-second script is roughly 130 to 160 spoken words
